In this article , PAP Housing Minister is adamant that they are still ‘affordable’ to the majority of Singaporeans. Mah Bow Tan also lavished generous self-praise on the PAP regime’s efforts to keep housing ‘affordable’ to young couples so they will be able to pay .

A HDB flat can cost to almost $40k or more , which not all Singaporean can afford to pay

In an interview of a article , a buyer mention that " What I know is very very expensive, and must pay for the loan until the buyer retire. That is the reason why people are NOT happy with the HDB jack up the house price so fast. They don't believe HDB subsidize the house cost. "
